Erin Paradis has a Bachelor’s in Ceramic Art and a Minor in Art History and Music from Alfred University. But she is perhaps best known at the school for the sweet dance moves she left behind. Erin has lived and traveled in many places, including Italy, Portland, Maine, Fort Collins, Colorado and, of course, Alfred, New York. She is currently a resident at Odyssey Clay Center for Ceramics in Asheville, North Carolina. She uses architecture and industrial spaces for inspiration for her work, taking her photographs of the architecture and creating new spaces and imagery. A deep-rooted love for Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman has traveled with Erin through her life, and the knowledge she gained from this love affair has helped her in times of trouble and outdoor adventures. These skills, along with her exquisite piano-playing abilities make Erin much more than your typical artist. http://erinparadis.blogspot.com/
